The Most Caring Child



Author and lecturer Leo Buscaglia once talking about a contest he was asked to judge. The purpose of the contest was to find the most caring child. The winner was a four year-old child whose next-door neighbor was an elderly gentlemen who had recently lost his wife. Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old entailment's yard, climb onto his lab and just sat there. When his mother asked him what he had said to neighbor , the little boy said "Nothing, I just help him cry."

    THE CLOSET DAD IN THE UNIVERSE  "He didn't tell me how to live; He lived, and let me watch him do it."   He was 50 years old when I was born, and an" MR.MOM"  long before anyone name for it. I didn't know why he was home instead of Mom, but I was young and the only one of my friend who had their dad around.  I considered myself very lucky.   Dad did so many things for me during my grade school years. He convinced the school bus driver to pick me up at my house instead of the usual bus stop that was six blocks away. He had my lunch ready for me when I came home-usually my peanut butter and jelly sandwich that was shaped for the season. My favourite was at Christmas.
